Sneak Peek!
Coming SOON to Gringo Furniture is a "WHOLE HOME" accessories package. In this new module you will have the ability to purchase; linens, towels, kitchen utensils, BBQ's, outdoor resin furniture, home accessories, electronics, cleaning needs, floral packages....pretty much everything needed to set up a home.

All our products are hospitality grade and most are manufactured in the USA. We will be importing them specifically for you via FEDEX direct to your door.

I will be the GUINEA PIG for this new module as I am having the first shipment sent to my new home in Merida. Once we have done this sample run we will then offer it to all our Gringo Furniture customers.

We are looking for comments and suggestions at this point as to what people need and want. Please let us know your thoughts about the pricing, items or anything else that you can contribute. All your comments will be appreciated. Please click the link below and download the SAMPLE file and give us your comments.

I am responding here to the launch of accessories whole home. Thanks this looks really helpful. We recently bought a bed and sofa from you but could not get the bedding/pillows as you were no longer doing them. We have an unfurnished house in Cancun that we hope to move into next month and we wanted to have basic furniture in ahead of our arrival so we can stay there from day1. Coming from the UK you often don't land until late evening and so immediate shopping isn't an option. How long do you expect shipping to take from order placement and when do you hope to have the service up and running? Further comments/observations : for those coming from the EU electrical appliances are good as the voltage here and in Mexico/USA is not the same, so all needs to be purchased. When we were last in Cancun we searched high and low for a tea kettle eventually finding one model only in Sears so that is good to have on your list. When you launch the service will you have pictures/colour charts? Finally as the goods are new and from Mexico will there be duty/taxes to pay? Hope the above is helpful. Many thanks for the help you have already given us. Alyson.

I couldn't get the download to open on my Mac, but still, here are my comments. I hope to be able to get some things by brand name in the U.S. shipped down. Most especially, we need some extra long twin mattresses, which I believe you said aren't sold in Mexico, and for our own King, we'd really like to be able to get a brand we have actually tried in the U.S.

Solid color towels would be great, in some nice strong colors. For bed linens, it would be good to know the thread count and how deep they are for the thicker mattresses, also in some strong solid colors.

It would be great if clients (like me in California) could also ship a box of stuff we have collected for our new places to whatever place you are gathering the items for shipment to Mexico, so all could be part of one shipment . . . if that's what you're doing. Or perhaps I misunderstood, and you are just shopping and FedEx'ing lots of separate packages. Can you please clarify this?

I hope this is available soon. We're looking to close in October and also hope to be able to live there right away.

Gracias, and I sure hope your trial shipment goes very smoothly!

Those are some great ideas -- I especially love the idea about being able to ship your personal items with the shipment. We do ship from the USA, so this is absolutely viable -- certainly something I will look into.

For the mattresses, we can do it....but the cost may become prohibitive...but, if it is something you want and are willing to pay for it, anything is possible.

We can get higher thread count sheets, it is just more expensive and in another spread sheet.

We hope to have a Bronze, Silver and Gold package for people to choose from depending on their budgets. The gold will have the TOP quality items with the highest thread counts.

Once we go live there will be photos of all the items.

Send me an email and I will send you the file in a different format that maybe your MAC will accept.

Thanks for the great ideas!
Karen

We bought your beautiful 4 poster king size iron bed last year. I then bought a set of mattresses, box and top, from Sams Club in Playa. WE love our bed and it is the most comfortable one we have in all bedrooms of both homes.
There is just 1 problem, the bed is very high, so high infact the bed side tables only reach half way up and to get into our bed I have to jump up. ( I am 5 ft 2)We need steps of some sort for each side of the bed. Like the 1800 beds had. I also need tall tables. Can you get these items for me.? ( The total height of our mattresses are 21 inches high.)

Louise Krusi

Hello! Wish you had done this earlier. We spent a lot of time and effort buying our bedding and drapes in the US and packing it in luggage because we could not find cotton bedding and good linens. Hot, balmy weather and polyester do not work well together to provide comfort.

We still are trying to decorate our Puerto Aventuras condo...so we may be able to shop GRINGO. A good lamp selection and some little decor items (candles, table clothes, etc.) would be great as well. Thanks for great ideas. Darlene Biasi
